We have put together a sizing chart for each of the Jackalware harnesses, which are a great guide to the best size harness to buy for your dog. The Jackalware harness sizes are fully adjustable to meet the requirements for most dog breeds. Easy to put on and take off with 2 quick release side buckles. Slide the harness over your dog's head, fasten with one click buckles on both sides, adjust straps and you are ready for an outdoor adventure.
We introduced new sizing for the Orange and Blue S harness to give our customers flexibility. If you are not sure which size is right for your dog, please drop us a line. All we need are chest, neck measurements and approximate weight.
The Jackalware harness was designed with the comfort of your dog in mind. A hidden elasticated band is designed to help our harness match your dog's body. The harness will fit and flex to be secure but also allow the freedom to let your dog run and play all day. Using central support across your dog's chest helps keep the harness in position and distribute load when using a lead or the restraining handle. Breathable mesh and soft padded cushioning means the Jackalware harness is comfortable for your dog all day.
The Jackalware harness is made from durable 900D Oxford Nylon and designed to enjoy any outdoor adventure with your dog. We have had excellent feedback from customers on the quality and strength of our harness. Every harness that we send out is quality checked before shipment.
Jackalware is a family-owned UK brand whose passion is to make great products for pets and their owners! We are based in Gloucestershire, UK.
Simply wipe clean with a cloth. Our harnesses are machine washable (we wash ours about once a month), however, bear in mind it may shorten the life span of the harness a little. When machine washing use a net washing bag to prevent tangling. Hand washing will maintain your harness in tip-top condition.
We understand that sometimes our customers need to return items to us.
You have the statutory right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days beginning with the day you receive the item where goods are not as described, not fit for purpose or not of satisfactory quality. Jackalware will refund the cost of return for items that are defective, damaged or incorrect.
As well as your statutory cancellation rights described above, you can return your harness to us within 30 days of receipt of the products if the products are in an unused and undamaged condition.
The best ring to use depends a bit on your dog, and the method you are used to training. Some people find that using the lower ring can help to teach dogs to heel. It brings the dog towards you if they pull without putting undue pressure on a dogs neck. Personally, we have used both clips for dog training and found them equally effective. If you are finding it difficult just using the top clip and your dog is pulling, switch to the front clip for added control.
For dogs that tend to pull using the front fastener reduces the pressure on their neck and your arm. As with any training, getting your dog to walk nicely to heel takes time and lots of encouragement.
